Mirtoselect® is a branded ingredient owned by Indena. It is a standardized bilberry fruit extract containing more than 36% of anthocyanins. Mirtoselect® is proven to be effective in supporting vascular, brain and eye health.
Curcugen® is a branded curcumin ingredient owned by Dolcas Biotech. Curcugen® is a dispersible, clinically-studied, whole turmeric extract, delivering 39-times more curcuminoids to the plasma for diverse benefits and indications. It contains curcuminoids, Bisdemethoxycurcumin (BDMC), and 1.5% Essential Oil. These ingredients are described below.
Bisdemethoxycurcumin is a naturally occurring curcuminoid found in turmeric that is chemically more stable than regular curcumin due to its lack of two methoxy groups. Its primary health benefits include enhanced support for brain health by helping clear amyloid plaques, potent anti-inflammatory properties, and the ability to induce cell death in cancer cells.
1.5% Essential Oil (turmeric essential oil contained in Curcugen) retains the native essential oils (such as turmerones) from the turmeric rhizome. These oils are usually stripped away in standard 95% extracts, but they are vital for helping the body absorb the curcuminoids and provide their own anti-inflammatory benefits.
MaquiBright® is a branded ingredientA standardized Maqui extract from Aristotelia chilensis berry rich in delphinidins, clinically validated to support tear fluid balance and ocular comfort.
KSM-66 is a branded, full-spectrum extract of ashwagandha root, an herb used in traditional medicine for its stress-reducing, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. KSM-66® is a branded ingredient owned by Ixoreal Biomed corporation.
