Ahiflower® Seed Oil is made from the seeds of the plant Buglossoides arvensis, often called corn gromwell or bastard alkanet. It is a plant-based omega oil that offers a complete & balanced source of essential fatty acids. It includes a blend of omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids. Ahiflower® Seed Oil is a branded ingredient of Nature Crops International.

Total Omega-3s refers to the combined amount of omega-3 fatty acids—primarily EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), and sometimes ALA (alpha-linolenic acid)—found in a product. These essential fats are known for supporting heart, brain, and joint health.

Alpha Linolenic Acid is an essential omega-3 fatty acid found in many seeds and oils, necessary for normal human growth and development.

Stearidonic Acid (SDA), also known as moroctic acid, is an omega-3 fatty acid. Like other omega-3s, SDA is associated with several health benefits, primarily due to its role in producing EPA and its potential direct effects including, anti-inflammatory, cardiovascular health, and brain health.

Omega-6 Fatty Acids refers to the sum of all the different types of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) present in a food or consumed in a diet. Role of Omega-6 Fatty acids in the body include, cell structure and function, brain development, gene regulation. The most common and significant omega-6 fatty acid is linoleic acid (LA). Once consumed, LA can be converted into other omega-6 fatty acids in the body, including: GLA, Dihomo-gamma-linolenic acid (DGLA), and Arachidonic Acid (AA)

Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) is a plant-derived omega-6 fatty acid, typically used for its anti-inflammatory and skin health benefits.

Omega-6 Linoleic Acid is an essential fatty acid that promotes brain function, normal growth and development, and stimulates skin and hair growth.
